Our Story

ATL Schools was established in September, 2010 by Chief and Late Lolo Okey Onyebuagu, a generous and passionate lover of children and humanity in general. The school was envisioned after much burden and need in the heart of the proprietor to contribute his quota to the development of education back home, after his return from the United States. They were inspired to provide quality education in all aspects: academically, socially, morally and sports, which would meet with the changing system and challenges in the educational world.

MANAGEMENT/ADMINISTRATION

ATL Schools is overseen by two core bodies; the Board of Trustees and the Board of Governors. The former oversees the realization of the original mission and vision of the school,whilst the latter plays an advisory role to the school administration and helps ensure that the aims and objectives of the founders of the school are achieved. The Board of Governors reflects a unique and diverse array of business and educationally experienced men and women. Regular meetings ensure; progress towards securing achievement of the school development plan, longer term planning, as well as general governance of issues. The management/ administration of the secondary section is chaired by the Chief Executive Officer ( CEO)/ Managing Director ( the proprietor) ably supported by the principal, vice principal, Human Resources Manager and Departmental heads while the Nursery and Primary School arm is chaired by the proprietor, and ably supported by the head teacher, Asst. head teacher and the various class teachers.
